CVD Coating Process
Diamond Tip is our CVD diamond crystalline coating process. Crystallites are formed in a high-pressure vacuum chamber with a concentrated heat source ( pulselaser ) using a chemical vapor deposition ( CVD ) process. Carbon gases are introduced into the vacuum chamber and the pulse-laser heats the carbide substrate vaporizing the carbon atoms. The chemical reaction forms a 100% pure crystalline diamond structure that is mechanically bonded to the carbide tips and blades on our Platinum Series Tools.
